What loads on this site
TAXMAN does not add analytics or advertising cookies. Public information pages use no third-party embeds or external font services. Sign-in and account security require essential storage. There is no “accept all” button because TAXMAN is not asking you to accept a bundle of tracking technologies.

Optional Google sign-in
Google’s sign-in script is not loaded automatically. If you select “Load Google sign-in”, your browser connects to Google to provide the sign-in service you requested. Google may use its own cookies or similar technology for that service; these vary with your Google settings and sign-in state. Read Google’s cookie information and privacy policy. Choosing username/password avoids loading the Google button. No separate TAXMAN advertising or analytics tools are enabled.
Browser drafts and documents
The hosted application does not use browser-local tax drafts as the source for new accounts. Old TAXMAN draft keys are cleared when server storage opens. OCR uses temporary browser memory; its language data cache is disabled. Exported downloads remain on your device until you remove them. A separately run local preview can use local storage or IndexedDB; that is different from the hosted account service.
Postcode checking
Choosing Check postcode sends the entered postcode via the TAXMAN server to Postcodes.io. No postcode request is made as you type. It does not load a third-party script or set an address-lookup cookie. Manual address entry remains available.
Your controls
You can block or clear cookies in your browser. Blocking the sign-in cookie prevents the private workspace from working. Dismissing the information notice acknowledges only the notice; it is not consent to marketing or tracking. If we introduce non-essential technologies, we will provide appropriate choices before loading them.
